These lots are typically pay-by-space or flat-fee depending on the season and day of the week. For those visiting on a budget, parking in the city-owned structures in Downtown and walking down the California Incline is a great way to save money while enjoying a scenic approach to the sand.

Walking the Marvin Braude Bike Trail

The world-famous Marvin Braude Bike Trail, also known as "The Strand," runs directly through North Beach. This 22-mile paved path is a hub for cyclists, rollerbladers, and walkers. Walking the North Beach section of the trail offers beautiful views of the Pacific on one side and the dramatic Santa Monica bluffs on the other.
